How does Hypnotherapy work?
You are actually in an hypnotic state several times a day without realising it. Ever driven to work on autopilot and can’t actually remember the journey? Being in hypnosis is completely natural; it’s a heightened state of awareness, and you’re always fully in control.
Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation during which positive suggestions are made to create beneficial changes in your thinking which then affects your behaviours in a positive way. The subconscious mind controls the involuntary functions of the body, including habits and things that we do ‘automatically’ – it is fuelled by our emotions and imagination. So by embedding the positive changes YOU want to make into your subconscious mind, you will reap the benefits in your day to day life, allowing you to be the person you want to be, and change unwanted thoughts and limiting beliefs.
The number of sessions required usually varies from person to person, however most people feel some benefit from hypnotherapy immediately.

What is NLP?
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Originally created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970s.
NLP therapy and coaching is extremely effective because rather than just using questioning skills to get you talking about something, other techniques can be used to help you change your behaviour and your thinking. This allows you to be released from the negative memories, thoughts or feelings that are holding you back from making progress. There are many names for the techniques used in NLP, however most of the time we will be creative in how we help you rewire past detrimental thought patterns and behaviours to help you create new ones.

Time Line Therapy™ (TLT) is a powerful therapeutic process that has evolved from hypnosis and NLP, and was developed by Tad James, Ph.D. in the 1980s. It was developed by applying a therapeutic process to the concept that we store our memories in a linear manner in an internal memory storage system.
TLT provides one of the most powerful processes and techniques for personal change and growth by facilitating the elimination of the painful emotions attached to memories or events in the past. TLT also focuses on what we can learn from those events and use what we learn as a resource for the future. TLT techniques and practical processes produce long lasting transformation much quicker than what is currently called “brief therapy”, with a minimum of discomfort to the client.
Some examples of painful emotions are: anger, rage, sadness, hurt, regret, fear, guilt & remorse. TLT also enables you to clear limiting beliefs that can leave you stuck in the past and stop you from creating what you want in your life. Both unwanted negative emotions and limiting beliefs influence every area of our lives.
Time Line Therapy frees you up emotionally and allows the release of unwanted emotional baggage that you’ve collected throughout your life. You get back to more of the core you!
